Musical cards

We have a lot of music players in the family at the moment. My youngest nephew plays the guitar and then his cousin plays the drums and another cousin plays the flute. So when it comes to birthday cards for teenagers its nice to give them something they are interested in.

My nephew was 16 and loves his guitars, so this shaped electric guitar card, I made on my Silhouette Cameo from the Silhouette store, went down really well.

This one for our drum player was also made up from elements from the Silhouette store. The background was drawn by the machine and then the die cut applied on top. The sentiment is a die from Spellbinders

Great cards! Cards for teenagers are always difficult.
Background drawn by the machine? Does your Silhouette draw too?

Oh yes Lisca, you can replace the blade housing with a pen and then it will draw instead of cut. It also will connect to your home scanner so you can scan anything in then cut it out. It really is an amazing machine, I love mine! The drawing is great for scrapbookers as it is a 12x12 machine and because you have got your mat on the screen of your computer you can place a word, it takes and uses all the fonts you have on your computer too, or journal block where ever you want, pop the pen in the machine and it will write the word or draw a design on a 12x12 page. It's just amazing Lisca.
