Mixed Media Mondays challenge for this week was to use metal or metallic, I bought some copper sheet last year to do this project as a very talented member of Altered design used the same technique back last year and I loved it so much I wanted to give it a try. You emboss metal sheet with the embossing folder and then colour with alcohol inks. All I need to get now is some chain to add to it so I can hang it up.

ipod cover
My wonderful husband bought me a new ipod at the weekend to replace my old one, a ipod mini which has had selective memory for almost 18 months. One day it plays the next time you switch it on it says there is no music there, so frustrating. Also the CD player in my craft room had been on the blink for the past year, I wonder if they have been talking? Anyway now I have a new ipod and dock for my craft room. I didn't want a case to cover the fantastic colour so I made one myself out of felt and using my owl template again, this time I added headphones for him, or ear muffs depending on what time of year it is !!!!

Colour ATC
This weeks theme for my Google group Altered designs was colour which was a good excuse to get out my water soluble wax crayons and make a background, then all it needed was an image and some colourful lettering and I was done. It also fitted with Think Monday Think ATCs challenge of mixed media, crayon, paper, card and ink ( around the edges of the image and ATC )
Halloween banner
The challenge this week on Mixed Media Monday was to make something round. As I am in a Halloween state of mind at the moment I decided to get my Nestibilities out and make a Halloween banner to add to my growing collection of Halloween decorations. I had also just bought the great skeleton die and it was a good excuse to try him out!

Pollys adventure
I stumbled across a great challenge site the other day- The Awfully big art adventure - this months challenge was to make a story in a box. As you know I love paper dolls and had had this idea for ages to have a paper doll who goes off on those beautiful traveling adventures of the early 1900's. Well meet Polly who is doing just that, in fact by the look of her trunk she has already been on a lot of great trips!
I had such fun with this, thank you Blue Peter of the 1070's and all the doll house makes you did, it helped a lot. I think I would of got it finished in half the time if I had not played with it so much along the way but then again I am still just a little girl inside!!
Congrats Chloe!
