The Fruit Pixie has just started stocking Lavinia Stamps, a British company who make fantasy style stamps. Now I am not usually drawn to Fantasy style stamps but I really likes these. They have made their own stamping DVD that demonstrates scene stamping. I have done a full review on the Fruit Pixie website -http://thefruitpixie.blogspot.co.uk/
After watching the video I had to have a go myself. Here is the card I came up with after watching the DVD
Both the Lavinia DVD and stamps are available from The Fruit Pixie online shop http://www.thefruitpixie.co.uk/lavinia-stamps-626-c.asp
I have had my Melt Pot now for over 8 years and when I bought it I got the project pan as well as I really wanted to work with wax. Umm I hate to say it and I hope Hubby isn't listening but this is the first project I have done using wax!!!!!!!!!!!! I did have loads of fun with it though and I am sure it won't be 8 years till I use wax again....Famous last words!
So here is the wax collage I made using products from The Fruit Pixie, who I design for. I have made a step by Step post on the Fruit Pixie blog with some tips and tricks for working with wax so please take a look.
The wax and paper set are available from http://www.thefruitpixie.co.uk/
February on the AJC the muse was the Masters, our favourite artists. Well my favourite artist has to be Hundretwasser and I used a lot of his paintings as inspiration but Black girl, discovery in the kingdom of Toros was the main one.
I created all the papers on my Geli plate then die cut the circles. The fairys, toadstools and words are from Tumblefish Studios.
I am so pleased with this page I might have to make a larger one on a canvas for my wall.
It is so good to be back in my craft room again!! Unfortunately I have been ill for over 5 weeks battling migraines which I never thought would go away but it looks like they have for now and it feels so good to be myself again!!!!! :)
I have been palying with these fun Sherlock Holmes stamps from Creative Expressions talented Sam Poole. As my friends know I am a HUGE Sherlock Holmes fan ( the real one not the film one, don't get me started on that subject ) so I loved this set!
This wonderful stamp set is available at http://www.thefruitpixie.co.uk/
