Embossed fairy card for the Fruit Pixie

The Fruit Pixie now have the Spellbinders 3D embossing folders. I had never used them until now and I must admit they are rather fab!!  

        Here is the little card I made using the Spellbinders 3D embossing folder Ornate labels 1 and a scrap of co'ordinations card stock which I sanded back. I then used one of the Lavinia stamps, large Pixie 1, for the centre and finished off with some gems and a ribbon

Minecraft crafting

Last weekend it was my teenage nephews and his cousins birthday, so double nightmare to make cards for! Luckily though they both play  Minecraft . Now I have no idea or should say had no idea about what that was but after a few days looking at the images and finding some wonderful free printables I do now. I ended up making 2 cards, 2 models with boxes and 2 printable shrink plastic phone charms, not bad !

   I found loads of amazing free printables

for their boxes I covered them using the very cleaver idea from this website - http://unskinnyboppy.com/2013/11/minecraft-magnets-free-printable/  but used the strips to decorate the box instead.

I also used some printable shrink plastic to make these phone charms using the same printables

These are my cards I made too. All using squares of coloured cardstock.

They both really liked them and couldn't believe I had made them.

The owner of The Fruit Pixie, Sarah-Jane, took some of her craft items to Kendals Big Gig at the weekend. As I couldn't be there to help I offered to make her some simple samples.
