Halloween matchboxes

I entered a swap on Art 42 for Halloween matchboxes. You had to decorate 2 matchboxes, plus one for the swap organiser instead of postage and then make a little Halloween surprise for the recipient. As you can see bottle tops played a big part in this project too!

Bottle top Medallions

I have had bottle tops ready to squash for a couple of years, then the other day I came across them and decided to have a play. They are great fun to play with and this is what I came up with. If you like the look of them they will be available with Altered Pages as a kit very soon, the Christmas ones too.

Halloween Tag

Open theme ATC swap

This week is an open theme on Altered designs. As soon as I saw this image I just had to use it! The paper behind the little girl and her crested crane is my own hand made paper put through a cuttlebug folder and lightly inked.

Halloween twinches swap

Here are my Halloween twinches for the Art 42 swap. 7 for 7 and one for the host.

Dotee Witch

I took part in a swap a while ago on Art 42 unfortunately I didn't receive a doll from my partner and neither did the host so we decided to send each other one. I thought as it was close to Halloween she might like a witch doll. Here she is.

Note pad holder

This is another new kit I have designed for Altered Pages using the lovely new colour beauties series of collage sheets available from Altered pages. I used the yellow beauties to collage my note pad holder.If you would like to make one yourself the kit will be available on the Altered pages website very soon.

The plan is for mine is to hang in my craft room with my German vocabulary list for each week on it , theory being I spend far too much time in my craft room and very little time learning my German homework, so why not try and combine them!! ......... well I can but try!

Postage stamp ATC

This weeks theme for altered design was postage stamp. I used the new beauty in pink collage sheet from Altered pages and raid on Hubby's postage stamp collection, to make mine, here it is

Christmas planner

I know the sun is still shinning and Christmas is the last thing on your mind but it dose have a habit of creeping up on you doesn't it? Well this is my new kit for Altered pages, a Christmas planner with plenty of room for you to keep all those secret planners for Christmas safe and organised. Ten Two studio five OH swap

To commemorate her 50th birthday and after the success of the last ATC swap they did Ten Two Studios are running another swap. Go to their website, download the collage sheet and then make 5 ATC that will be swapped out and then included in their zine. I have finished mine and they will be off in the post tomorrow. Another Dottee doll

My friend next door has to go to Canada to help her sister get over an eye operation, she hates flying and has to go by herself, so I thought as it is her birthday on Friday I would make her a little Dottee doll to keep her company. After all everyone needs a Dottee doll in their life!!

Birthday card

I made this card from my fave CDrom from Polka Doodles. This was the first time I had made anything with the swirly flowers and I was so pleased the way it turned out. I had to make a box with the matching papers to put it in as it was too thick to put in an envelope. I made the little charm to finish it off.

Laugh ATC

This was an open theme with Altered designs. This image of the two little clowns appealed and I am really pleased with the finished card.

Mixed Media Monday challenge

This weeks M.M.M. challenge was to embellish something. I had bought this little wooden manikin a few weeks ago after seeing one of the jewelry shops in Bristol had painted them and dressed them as fairy's and then hung them in their window. I loved this idea and had to have a go myself and as this fitted in with the M.M.M challenge, here is mine.

Think Monday think ATC challenge

here is my ATC for Think Monday Think ATC challenge this week , which was using script. I must admit I love to using script of all sorts in all my projects so it was fitting to do this challenge.

A very proud girl!

I have just been sent free copy of Ten Two Studios online zine as I have had my ATCs I did for their 5th birthday published. I have had scrapbooking layouts published but not my Mixed Media work. As I love to create Mixed Media more than anything I am very very proud to of been part of the project.
